Technical Diving - Hogarthian (DIR) equipment configuration
Hogarthian Divers equipment configuration is based on the Hogarthian (DIR) philosophy of diving.
Equipment configuration for Advanced (Technical) Nitrox Diver training
• the Harness and Backplate with Buoyancy Compensators - Wing for single tank (recomended wing for double tanks)
• fins - ScubaPro JetFin or XsScuba Turtle
• single first stage regulator, the two-second stages, the pressure gauge and power inflator.
• a single tank
• wrist mounted dive computer or bottom timer.
• waist-mounted knife near the center of the diver's body
• appropriate thermal suit
• decompression regulator: used on a decompression bottle
• decompression bottle

• Alternate Lift Device: Lift bag, diver alert marker, or surface life raft, for open water diving.
